THE FIRE,
10 min
A part of the feature documentary film project KIRUNA ORTDRIVAREN
One day in June 2016 it began to burn in the mine in Kiruna. My partner is working at the bottom of the mine and can not get up. His teams have been evacuated to a collection point. If the situation worsens they should seek shelter in the rescue chambers, there are no such deployment in the mine but they can only accommodate eight people each.
During the day I sit glued to my computer where the news update mode. I have contact with my partner over the phone. I experience a heart-stopping thriller.
Emergency services can not get down to put the fire out before it is too much smoke in the aisle
